Community Risk Reduction Division/Fire Marshal

The Community Risk Reduction Division is responsible for Fire Prevention, Public Education, Inspection Activities and Fire Investigation procedures for the City of Red Oak. The Community Risk Reduction Division is also responsible for coordinating all activities under the Emergency Management spectrum for the City of Red Oak.

Plan Reviews – All submittal requirements for all projects in the city
3 sets of plans, a PDF copy, and all data sheets must be submitted to Nena Speigner located at 411 W. Red Oak Rd., Red Oak, TX 75154.

PLAN REVIEW FOR FIRE ALARMS AND FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS

If property is 10,000 sq. ft. or greater - for Occupancy A and E Classifications
The plans must be submitted to an approved third party for review.  At the present time the following firms are approved by the Fire Marshal:

After the review has been completed, fill out a ROFR Application for Services. Submit application and permit fees to Public Works, attention Nena Speigner located at 411 W. Red Oak Rd., Red Oak, TX 75154.

If Traditions Fire Consulting is used, they will send electronic stamped plans, notes and calculations to the Fire Marshal.

If Reed Fire Protection is used, they will send stamped plans with notes and calculations to the Fire Marshal. 


If property is less than 10,000 sq. ft.-

3 sets of plans must be submitted to Nena Speigner located at 411 W. Red Oak Rd., Red Oak, TX 75154. 

After review has been completed fill out a ROFR Application for Services.  Submit application and permit fees to Public Works attention Nena Speigner located at 411 W. Red Oak Rd., Red Oak, TX 75154.
